Our Super Snack Project
Picture

In Class 206, we are learning to be curious about what we eat simply because we care about our health. We ask ourselves the following questions:
Where does the food come from?
What are the main ingredients?
Is it sun's energy?
We are also beginning to understand that what we are eating can affect our environment. For example, eating too much meat can not only be harmful for our health but can have devastating consequences on our planet Earth. We learned that cattle grazing for the production of meat is responsible for the destruction of our Amazon Forest. It also pollutes the air and leads to desertification. To be a Global Citizen is to understand that our daily food choices have consequences that affect the world we live in.

Let's make healthy choices for ourselves and for the world we live in, right here and right now!
